Speak in Love

God commands that above all else, we must have love.  No matter what our role is (director, teacher, coworker, or parent), we need to understand what our primary Love Language is because this is how we will try to "speak love" and show appreciation to those in our "community" (work, home, ministry, etc.). Unfortunately, the love and appreciation we "speak" often goes unheard because we aren't speaking the right "language". Whether you are in a Christian environment or not, knowing and understanding the Love Language of those in your "community" will help bring harmony and unity to your workplace, home, or ministry.

Investing Now, Influencing the Future

Early Childhood Educators have the opportunity to invest in something more precious than gold – a child’s life.  Through intentional practices and deliberate efforts, teachers commit now, to give children the potential for improved academic performance, more economic opportunity, greater resiliency, and a higher capacity to navigate life.

Fill Yourself Up Before You Love on the Children

As teachers in a Christian environment, you are called to show God's love to the children in your care each and every day.  In order for you to do that, you must first fill yourself up with His Truth and His love.  This session will give you simple, practical ways to "fill up" before you "pour out".

Sharpen Your A.X. (Attitude & eXpectations)

Feeling burned out? Do you find yourself asking, “Why am I here?”   Or maybe there is an overwhelming sense of stress or discontent in your center.  This open, honest session will help remind participants why we chose to be Early Childhood Educators. We will look at how to build and maintain relationships with our co-workers, how to encourage and support each other in the workplace, and how to grow ourselves professionally.  A change in attitude and expectations can happen, but it has to start with you.

Interacting with Parents - Making a Connection

Just as every child is different, so is every parent.  As early childhood educators, we must be deliberate in our efforts to reach out to the parents of the children in our care.  This workshop helps educators appreciate a parent's perspective as well as understand effective ways to communicate and connect with the parents of their preschool.
